Calendar is critical in my work. bad idea has made me slightly crazy figuring this out. I thought calendar was basic stuff..

This is great idea! It would also solve the problem of completely losing your calendar if you lose internet. Calendar does continue to work after you’ve lost Internet connectivity, in that you can change views, look at different months or weeks, open events and see details. You can even try to create a new event (unsuccessfully of course). However you can’t edit an existing event and press Save without completely losing your Calendar (until the internet connection is re-established).

If this is done it should be optional so it can be hidden and out of the way. I just use multiple screens so I can display both.
